This project involved designing packaging for a noodle product from a brand specializing in aged meat. The brand wanted the packaging to reflect the rich, meaty broth base that their noodles are known for, while maintaining their signature color scheme—green for the brand identity and ivory to represent the broth. The final design needed to visually convey the depth of flavor in the broth while staying true to the brand's aesthetic.

Project Goal
The goal was to create packaging that effectively represented the richness of the broth while harmonizing the brand’s signature green color with the ivory hue of the soup. The packaging design needed to include a visually appealing image of the noodles that would look realistic and enticing, despite the challenge of not being able to conduct a product photoshoot.
Design Journey
One of the key challenges during this project was working around the absence of a photoshoot for the noodle image. The brand had a very specific vision for how they wanted the noodles to appear, and with no photoshoot planned, I proposed a solution using Photoshop. By collaborating with the brand, I worked through multiple iterations to composite a final image using various stock photos. Elements such as the broth color and the garnishes were carefully selected from different sources and combined to create a realistic and visually compelling image.
Design Solution
To ensure the noodle image was both authentic and true to the brand’s vision, I meticulously blended different stock images in Photoshop, working closely with the brand to get every detail right. Another critical aspect was ensuring the design translated perfectly for print. Since color consistency was crucial across different packaging formats—cup noodles, packet noodles, and the cup lids—I coordinated directly with the printing company. This involved carefully managing the CMYK color profiles to ensure the green and ivory tones maintained their integrity across all packaging components, resulting in a cohesive and appealing final product.
