Project Goal

The main goal was to design packaging that showcased the natural essence and health benefits of the product while meeting the brand’s request to have Korean text on the front and English on the back. The challenge was to create a harmonious design that flowed seamlessly between the two languages while maintaining the brand’s clean and modern image.

Design Journey

A significant challenge for this project was balancing the brand's desire for a cursive-style font for the English text on the back with the need for a clean, modern look on the front. I focused on creating a design where the front and back felt connected, using a minimalist and modern typography for the Korean text while ensuring the back retained the brand’s requested cursive feel. Another key task was ensuring the ingredients—peas and green tangerines—were visually represented in a way that immediately communicated the product's natural composition.

Design Solution

To address the brand’s specific requests, I used Photoshop to composite images of peas and green tangerines in a layout that complemented the packaging while emphasizing the natural ingredients. The typography for the Korean text on the front was kept simple and modern, blending naturally into the design. On the back, a light, cursive-style font was used for the English text, maintaining a smooth transition between the two sides. This design approach allowed the packaging to meet the brand’s aesthetic and functional needs while clearly communicating the product’s natural and healthy message.
