This project involved the planning, launch, and design of Manuka honey and royal jelly honey stick products for an Australian health supplement company. The design needed to maintain the brand’s established layout while adding a luxurious feel to the packaging. The consistency of the design across various promotional materials, including posters and leaflets, was essential to highlight the product’s authenticity and quality.

Project Goal
The primary goal was to create packaging that conveyed a sense of luxury and trustworthiness while aligning with the existing brand identity. The design also needed to communicate the benefits of the stick format, ensuring that both the packaging and the promotional materials (posters, leaflets) conveyed a unified message about the high quality and convenience of the product.
Design Journey
A key challenge in this project was working with the supplier to ensure that the honey stick foil packaging met the high-quality print standards required by the brand. Since the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for the foil was large, it was crucial to get the design and print quality right from the beginning, as the material would be used long-term. This involved several rounds of sampling and close communication with the supplier to ensure that the pattern and print quality were consistent and met the brand's standards.
Design Solution
Through ongoing collaboration with the supplier, we were able to refine the foil printing process, achieving the desired quality for both the pattern and overall appearance. The packaging maintained the brand’s layout while introducing a luxurious feel through subtle design changes. Promotional materials such as posters and leaflets were designed to ensure consistency across all brand touchpoints, with a focus on highlighting the product’s benefits, including the convenience of the stick format and the premium quality of the honey. This holistic approach ensured a cohesive brand message across all channels.
