This project focused on designing packaging for an Australian health supplement brand. The brand wanted a clean, modern design that could effectively communicate the product’s benefits, even for non-English speakers shopping in duty-free stores. The packaging needed to be simple yet intuitive, allowing anyone to quickly understand the product's purpose and key ingredients.

Project Goal

The main objective was to create a packaging design that was sleek and modern while ensuring that the product’s function and ingredients were immediately recognizable. This was particularly important for non-English speaking consumers in duty-free environments. Additionally, the design needed to incorporate high-quality finishing techniques to enhance its visual appeal, as the brand operates primarily offline.

Design Journey

A significant challenge was designing for a global audience that might not be fluent in English. To address this, I included ingredient-related images that would give consumers an immediate understanding of the product’s benefits and contents. The design also needed to leverage offline retail advantages, so I focused on elevating the packaging through premium finishing techniques like UV coating and gold hotstamping, which added a touch of luxury and boosted the overall perception of quality.

Design Solution

The final design incorporated a template-style layout, allowing for easy adaptation as the brand introduced new products with different ingredients. This approach provided consistency across the product line while making future packaging updates more efficient. The use of UV and gold hotstamping enhanced the offline presence of the product, ensuring that it stood out on the shelf. With ingredient imagery and a clean, modern design, the packaging successfully communicated the product's benefits, making it accessible to both English and non-English speaking consumers.
